Clinical notes

As the Front-Mu point of the Heart, REN14 is a primary point for regulating Heart Qi and calming the spirit, particularly in cases of emotional distress, anxiety, insomnia, and palpitations. It effectively unbinds the chest and alleviates pain in the Heart region, making it useful for angina and chest oppression. Its strong connection to the Heart also makes it valuable for treating manic-depressive disorders and epilepsy when related to Heart imbalances, often needled with PC6 for chest pain or HT7 for insomnia.
