For fourteen years I practised emergency medicine in Turkey — fast decisions, hard evidence, no room for wishful thinking. Then a deeper question about how the body heals pulled me East. I trained in clinical acupuncture at Taipei City Hospital, studied meridian and Five-Element theory at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, and apprenticed in the quiet precision of Japanese acupuncture with Dr. Takuma Yoshizawa in Kyoto. Today I carry both worlds into every treatment: the rigour of modern medicine and the depth of a tradition refined over two millennia.
I founded qiboo.ai to give that same honesty to everyone — reading, appraising and grading the acupuncture evidence base so patients and practitioners can see what the research actually shows, neither over-sold nor dismissed.
