REN13 (Shangwan, “Upper Venter”) is an acupuncture point on the Conception Vessel Meridian. It is located on the anterior midline of the abdomen, 5 cun superior to the umbilicus, or 1 cun inferior to the sternocostal angle. It harmonizes the Stomach, regulates Qi, alleviates pain.
