1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using qiboo.ai (the "Service"), you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and that you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Medical Disclaimer. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and qiboo.ai.

2. Description of Service

qiboo.ai is an evidence-based research aggregation and news platform focused on acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. We provide:

• Curated, evidence-graded research news and article summaries
• Access to a searchable database of indexed TCM research
• Community features including a practitioner forum
• Personalized research feeds for registered users
• Educational content and event listings
• AI-assisted clinical decision-support tools for practitioners, available on the paid Pro plan — including the Diagnostic Assistant, Ask-the-Classics reference Q&A, tongue-photo analysis and multilingual patient handouts

qiboo.ai is an aggregation and educational platform. We do not publish original peer-reviewed research and are not a medical advice service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use qiboo.ai. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information at registration
• Keep your password confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Not create accounts for others without their explicit consent
• Not transfer your account to any third party

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content without express written permission (individual article reading is permitted)
• Post false, misleading, harmful, or abusive content in the forum or any community feature
• Impersonate any person, institution, or organization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform without prior written agreement
• Reproduce, distribute, or republish our editorial summaries or proprietary content without a license
• Enter patient-identifying information — names, dates of birth, addresses, phone or email, national ID numbers, medical record numbers, or full-face photos — into any field that is saved to qiboo (enter symptoms and de-identified clinical detail only)
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any malicious code

Violations may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

Patient identity & records. qiboo.ai is a clinical decision-support tool for your own professional judgement — it is not a medical-records system and is not a HIPAA Business Associate; we do not receive or store Protected Health Information and do not sign Business Associate Agreements. Saved cases are referenced only by a random code and contain symptoms and the report; any patient name or reference you attach is stored only in your own browser, never on our servers. You remain the sole controller of any patient-to-code mapping you keep on your device and are responsible for securing that device (screen lock, disk encryption, not a shared computer).

6. Intellectual Property

All content on qiboo.ai — including but not limited to editorial summaries, evidence grades, platform design, branding, and software — is the property of qiboo.ai and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Original research articles linked from qiboo.ai remain the property of their respective publishers and authors. Our summaries and evidence grades are original editorial work and may not be reproduced without permission.

You may share individual article links. You may not republish our editorial content without a written license. Contact partnerships@qiboo.ai for licensing inquiries.

Third-party sources, snippets & affiliation. qiboo.ai indexes and links to research and news published by third parties. We display only bibliographic facts (such as title, author, journal, year and DOI/PMID) together with short snippets and a prominent link out to the original source; we do not aim to reproduce full abstracts or articles at scale, and we honour publishers' robots.txt and text-and-data-mining opt-outs. Source and journal names are used referentially only. qiboo.ai is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the journals, publishers, databases or news outlets it references, and our AI summaries and evidence appraisals are independent editorial work that restate facts in our own words. 7. Subscriptions and Payments

qiboo.ai offers both free and premium paid plans (the "Pro" subscription). Payment is handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), who acts as the authorized reseller of our products, processes payments securely, issues your invoice and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT. We do not store full payment card information.

• Pro is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your most recent payment, as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Prices are shown in USD and may change with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

8. Disclaimers

qiboo.ai is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
• Any information on the platform is complete, accurate, or current
• The platform is free of viruses or other harmful components

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, qiboo.ai and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to qiboo.ai in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless qiboo.ai, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) content you submit or post; or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or qiboo.ai.

Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends. Sections 6, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting a notice on the platform at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and, where applicable, the national laws of the user's country of residence. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if that fails, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction in the EU.

14. Practitioner Directory & User Listings

The qiboo.ai practitioner directory contains two kinds of entries. (a) Curated public-institution entries list only the business name, location and public website of teaching clinics, hospitals and professional associations — never a private individual's personal data. (b) Self-published listings are created, edited and removed by the signed-in practitioner or clinic that owns them. You may create a listing only for yourself or a practice you are authorised to represent, and you are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of everything you publish. Self-published listings are additionally governed by the Practitioner Listing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms; in the event of any conflict concerning a listing, that Agreement controls.

qiboo.ai is a neutral host. We do not endorse, recommend, rank by merit, certify or guarantee any listed practitioner, clinic or institution. A listing — including any "verified" badge, which confirms only that a document was submitted to us, not clinical competence — is not a referral and not a warranty of quality, qualification or fitness for any purpose. Inclusion creates no agency, partnership, employment or professional relationship between qiboo.ai and the listed party; any engagement you enter into with a practitioner is solely between you and that practitioner, at your own risk. We may decline, edit, suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, and we will remove a listing on the verified request of the person it concerns — email directory@qiboo.ai (see also our Privacy Policy).
