Clinical notes

As the Back-Shu point of the Bladder, BL28 is the primary point for all Bladder disorders, especially those involving damp-heat, such as frequent, urgent, or painful urination, and urinary tract infections. It is also effective for enuresis and retention of urine due to deficiency or obstruction. Its action extends to the lower back, making it useful for lumbago associated with urinary issues, and it is often paired with CV3 (Zhongji), the Front-Mu point of the Bladder.
