BL32 (Cì Liáo, “Second Crevice”) is an acupuncture point on the Bladder Meridian. It is located on the sacrum, in the second posterior sacral foramen, medial and inferior to the posterosuperior iliac spine. It regulates the Lower Jiao, strengthens the lumbar region and legs, benefits urination and defecation, regulates menstruation.

Location

Needling

Perpendicular-oblique insertion, directed medially and inferiorly into the posterior sacral foramen, 1.0 to 1.5 cun.
