DU19 (Houding, “Behind the Vertex”) is an acupuncture point on the Governing Vessel Meridian. It is located on the posterior midline, 1.5 cun directly superior to DU18, or 5.5 cun directly superior to the midpoint of the posterior hairline. It calms the spirit, clears the head.
