SP10 (Xuèhǎi, “Sea of Blood”) is an acupuncture point on the Spleen Channel Meridian. It is located on the medial aspect of the thigh, 2 cun superior to the superior border of the patella, on the bulge of the vastus medialis muscle. To locate, place the palm on the patella, with the thumb on its medial border; the point is where the tip of the thumb rests. It invigorates blood, regulates menstruation, cools blood.
