LU4 (Xiabai, “Xiabai means 'Clasping the White'”) is an acupuncture point on the Lung Channel of Hand Taiyin Meridian. It is located on the anterolateral aspect of the upper arm, on a line connecting LU3 (Tianfu) and LU5 (Chize), 4 cun superior to the cubital crease, or 5 cun inferior to the anterior axillary fold, in the depression on the lateral side of the biceps brachii muscle. It regulates Lung Qi, soothes the chest, and alleviates pain.
