LR11 (Yīn Lián, “Yin Corner”) is an acupuncture point on the Liver Channel of Foot Jueyin Meridian. It is located on the medial aspect of the thigh, 2 cun inferior to the pubic tubercle, at the proximal end of the sartorius muscle. It regulates Qi, alleviates pain, benefits lower abdomen.

Needling

Perpendicular insertion 0.8-1.5 cun. Avoid the femoral artery.

⚠ Major vessel/nerve nearby — palpate first; avoid deep insertion (near the femoral artery).
