LI16 (Jugu, “Great Bone”) is the Meeting point of LI & Yang Qiao point of the Large Intestine Meridian. LI16 is located in the depression between the acromial extremity of the clavicle and the scapular spine. It lies superior to the shoulder joint. Perpendicular or oblique insertion 0.5-1.0 cun. Avoid the subclavian artery and lung.
