Yaotongxue (Yāotòngxuè, “Lumbar Pain Point”) is an extra (non-channel) acupuncture point. It is located on the dorsum of the hand, two points located between the second and third metacarpal bones, and between the fourth and fifth metacarpal bones, respectively, at the midpoint of the metacarpal bones. It activates blood and dispels stasis, alleviates lumbar pain.
