TB2 (Yèmén, “Yèmén”) is the Ying-Spring Point point of the Triple Burner Meridian. It is located on the dorsum of the hand, in the depression proximal to the margin of the web between the fourth and fifth fingers, found when a loose fist is made. It clears heat, benefits the ears and throat, dispels wind, and alleviates pain.

As the Ying-Spring and Water point of the San Jiao channel, Yèmén is excellent for clearing heat from the upper part of the body. It is a primary point for ear disorders like pain, tinnitus, and especially sudden deafness. Its ability to clear heat also makes it effective for sore throat, toothache, and red eyes, as well as for febrile conditions like malaria.
