Clinical notes

Classically, Diwuhui is a key distal point for conditions along the Gallbladder channel, particularly swelling in the axilla and breasts. Its other major indication, for internal injury leading to spitting blood and a withered appearance, suggests a role in treating consumptive disorders with yin or blood deficiency. The severe classical prohibition against moxibustion is its most notable feature and must be respected.
