BL10 (Tiān Zhù, “Celestial Pillar”) is the Window of the Sky point of the Bladder Meridian. Located 1.3 cun lateral to the midpoint of the posterior hairline, at the level of the lower border of the first cervical vertebra (C1). It dispels wind, clears the head, and benefits the eyes and nose.

Needling

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-0.8 cun, or obliquely downwards 0.5-1 cun. Caution: Spinal cord is deep to this point.
